Hi, I'm Elisha


For the longest time I felt trapped in my body. Anxiety, digestive pain, jaw tension, knee pain, constant “gripping” inside and a racing mind greeted me every day from age 13 to 33. 

While I identified that I was utterly traumatized at age 24, methods like therapy, personal development + self-help, yoga and massage never worked for me. It wasn’t until I was “stepped on” with almost 100lbs of body weight in 2008 (to release my calf fascia) that I knew I’d be ok. It was like someone had finally located the exact spot in my body that I’d hidden my psyche when I was violated as a child (that no amount of talk therapy had been able to locate). 

My fascination for all things fascia was sparked that day, and after unlocking my own body so I could trail run and hike again (after 8 years of not being able to due to knee pain), I opened my private practice in Boulder, Colorado. Shortly after that, the anxiety, digestive pain and chronic tension released their grips on me and I realized that I was an energetic extrovert instead of the shy introvert I believed was me for so long! 

I’ve worked with thousands of people in pain to help them tune in to the wisdom of their bodies in order to solve pain and body|mind disconnection at the source. Every client or online student comes to me because of physical pain, yet we often uncover emotional wounds or unhealed traumas living in their bodies.  

I’m humbled every time someone steps onto this path with me. I teach from lived experience, and my methods aren’t for everyone. But if you’re at all like me and you’re kinesthetic (you tend to FEEL and “know” the world through your body), I’d be honored to introduce you to some powerful body-based practices that changed my life.
