Foam Roller

This should be medium density. Stay away from knobby foam rollers.

Lacrosse Ball

The only ball that will be truly effective for eliminating PF.

Rolling Pin

A wooden french rolling pin without handles works best.


Weight Plate

A weight plate is ideal but most large heavy objects (like a large cast iron skillet) will suffice.

Armless Chair

An armless chair with moderate cushioning is ideal but makeshift substitutes will work.

Yoga Mat

A 1/2" thick yoga mat is nice for the partner technique, but not an absolute.

Absolutely! You don’t need to be able to name muscles to feel your muscles, release your fascia, and get out of pain.

If you follow my instructions precisely it typically takes between a week and a month to get a result depending on the type and severity of your plantar fasciitis.

It can be, but healthy fascia won't hurt with compression. I never want you going over your “edge.” It will be uncomfortable, but you should feel safe. You have total control over the process.
